Frequently Asked Questions
When I have completed one of your courses, will I be able to make and sell the products myself?
By the time you have completed either our workshops or home study courses, you will be armed with more than enough information and skills to be able to design and make your own products.
We would always suggest that you practice and perfect your recipes before embarking in having them certified - which you will need to do before you can legally sell them.
Our Cosmetic Legislation course, home study programme and ebooks will help you to understand the Cosmetic Legislation requirements.
Can I collect my items from you rather than have them posted?
If you live close enough to the TW12 area, you can collect your items from us and save yourself the postal charges.
Please call us on 078 51 42 99 57 to arrange a convenient time.

I want to learn how to make soap, but I've heard it's dangerous
Traditional soap making involves the use of sodium hydroxide which can be harmful if not handled properly. As with all of all our classes, we give you safety advice when handling and using cosmetic ingredients.
If you treat the ingredients with care, you will reap the rewards of having made beautiful, safe, skin-friendly cosmetic products.
All our products and recipes are safety assessed by a toxicologist and are therefore safe for even the most sensitive of skins.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We endeavour to get your parcel packaged and dispatched within a couple of working days.
At present we use Royal Mail to deliver our products so you will need to allow up to 3-4 working days for delivery. If your order is urgent, please contact us to let us know and we will try to meet your needs.
How can I check what ingredients are used in the training courses?
Hmmm, that's not necessarily an easy one to answer. Whilst we introduce our students to a wide variety of ingredients and highlight the purpose, benefits and therapeutic qualities of each, we encourage you to design and formulate your own products whilst you are with us.
That makes it a very very long list we'd have to include on our website in order to give you an idea of all the ingredients we use. If you have a particular ingredient you would like to use (or avoid!), please contact us prior to the course.
In the meantime, do check out the ingredients link on the website as there is some useful information included on there..
