Highly Unlikely!

Any spare champagne available? Highly unilikely
If so, fancy making champagne bath truffles? Highly unilikely
Ahh, but that's got you a little intrigued hasn't it.....
Well in the event that you may have some dregs of champagne and some spare time, here's the recipe anyway!
Ingredients:
300g bicarbonate of soda
100g citric acid
actually, any amount will do, just make sure it's 3 parts bicarb to 1 part citric
50g cocoa butter (or half a part if there's such a thing)
a little left over champagne
1% your favourite essential/fragrance oil (optional)
a little gold mica and/or cosmetic grade glitter (optional)
Method:
Melt the cocoa butter
Place bicarb and citric in a bowl and mix well
Add the champagne to the melted cocoa butter - how much champagne? Well hopefully you won't have too much left in the bottle, but about 20--25mls is plenty (about a third of a champagne glass). If you are using less bicarb and citric, add less champagne otherwise your mixture will be too sloppy.
OK, we know it doesn't look very pretty at the moment, but pour the champagne/cocoa butter into the bicarb/citric mixture and mix well
Add your fragrance/essential oil if you are using it and mix again.
Add your gold mica and/or glitter if you are using them and mix again.
Place into moulds - ice cube trays, little petit fours cases, small cup cake cases - they'll all do. Leave to set. You can put them in the fridge to set if it isn't full of chilling champagne bottles.
Directions for use: Run a warm bath, pop a champagne bath truffle into the bath and enjoy.
Why not go the whole hog and use a champagne fragrance oil? We have some in our 'special offers' section as we attempt to clear some space for new stuff in January. 60mls for only £2.50? Highly unlikley (but true!)
