Making Natural Candles

Duration: Half day 10:30am - 12:30pm ish (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only)

Prerequisites: No previous experience required 

Description: Make beautiful, scented, natural candles.  This course is ideal for those who wish to set up a candle business but also for those who wish to make candles for personal use.

This is a private candle making session run by experts at Plush Folly.  It is a practical hands-on intensive, informative, creative yet informal session and whilst there is a set structure to our candle making workshop, it is possible to tailor the course a little to suit any specific areas you wish to include.

During your session you will learn -

Different waxes available - which is most suitable for your needs
How to choose the right wick for your candles
Different containers for candles
How to create essential / fragrance oil blends that will scent your candles
Testing and troubleshooting
CLP regulations and safety labelling
Candle ingredients and accessories suppliers

Everything you make is yours to take home with you - but if any of the candles are not quite set then we will post them onto you when they are.

The eLearning course notes are provided for you as part of this workshop and will be emailed to you after the course so that you don't have to worry about taking notes.
