Making your own shampoos can be fun and rewarding.

Surfactants are used extensively in hair care since they are the backbone of shampoos (as well as body washes and other types of liquid soap).

This self-study module will teach you how to formulate with surfactants so you can decide which one(s) to use to form the basis of your shampoo.
