Aroma profile: 

Aldehydes deserve a special round of applause as they are key to modern day perfume making. Having made their fabulous entrance into the world with Chanel No 5, these days most perfumes sneak a little aldehyde into their formulations.

Aldehydes add dimension and depth to a perfume to give them a floral or fruity, fresh sparkling note. They help to enhance and intensify other aromas in the perfume.

Aldehyde C11 Undec is a fatty aldehyde which gives a sweaty-green scent with animal aspects. It is found naturally in coriander leaf.

I passed it round the office and the general agreement is that it smells like ironing clothes with a steam iron.
