Weirdest smell ever

This fascinates me as I wouldn't know how to describe the smell, but the Plush Folly team describes it precisely. You know those mushed green peas you get in a can? Mix those with a sparkling "pineapple" pop drink and heat it on the stove. That is the smell. It's strong, warm, yet sparkling. To me it's almost unpleasant, but I bet it adds that background greenness and odd zing to fruity compositions.
