Fabulous smoking ingredient, especially for chypres

I thought at first it smelled very smoky, but it blends so well and the end result is a fantastic mellow leather note. A little goes a long way, so add to blend sparingly at first and top it up if needed
love a dirty leather but not pure skank!

I am the first to love a good worn, dusty, dirty leather but this leather is actually dirtier than the castoreum I bought from PF so I may aswell swap them around the castoreum will pass for leather.

Not exactly what I expected, it's very musty like an old leather jacket you found in the attic.
Very happy with the rest of my purchase and I will surely find a use for this as well.

Rather than a soft suede type leather this is more of a dirty worn in armchair, road tar type smell. I tried it with the castoreum and coffee oils and I had a dark, mysterious aromatic blend that I used in my candles. Stunning or what!
